mediaQUERY

mediaQUERY is an Internet-based software product for all Broadcast and Cable networks using Nielsen's market break data. Because it is web-based, mediaQUERY requires no installation or set-up. It empowers salespeople and researchers to develop their own sales stories with little or no training.

mediaQUERY has two components: the Dayparts Module and Programming Module.

 
Dayparts Module: runs Nielsen's monthly market break data against customized sales rotations. In addition to market break data, we have incorporated MRI in this module to report product category delivery by demo and daypart.

A report called Hit List finds a target network's best stories in seconds.
 		Programming Module: Users can create custom program sets and report estimates, on a primary and secondary demo for the program set within a date range. Features include a trackage report and the ability to filter the program set within a time period.

mediaQUERY:
  • Reports by Program Summary or Telecast detail 
  • Offers several viewing options including Ratings, VPVHs, Composition, Cume and Time Spent Viewing

Ratings 101

Ratings 101 generates quick analyses of your proprietary data in seconds. TNG Research takes your monthly Nielsen report and programs it in Ratings 101 where you then have the ability to manipulate your own demos and customize dayparts. A program analysis module is also available for clients who create program names for their networks.

 

Ratings 101 is as simple to use as it looks. Just choose a custom daypart set and the months you want to include, and run the report!

Ratings 101:

  • Includes VPVH, 000's, Ratings, Share, Comp, HUT, HUT%

  • Trends all months

  • Includes season to date average

  • Imports to an Excel worksheet where any chosen demos are printed in priority order

  • Allows you to create and edit dayparts

Cable Show & Sell

Cable Show & Sell has 3 reports and only one screen to fill out so there’s little to no training involved:

  1. Network Highlights: find your strongest dayparts ranked by VPVH

  2. Daypart Analysis: compare your network to the competition’s VPVHs, Composition, and (000"s)

  3. Percent Change Report: compare your network to the competition’s percent change in VPVH, Composition, and (000’s) from one quarter to another.
